Hi! I’m Caitlin Schwarz, a senior at The College of New Jersey majoring in Technology and Engineering Education. I’m passionate about creating hands-on, engaging learning experiences that help students connect with engineering, design, and technology in meaningful ways.
My teaching focuses on creativity, real-world problem-solving, and exploration through the engineering design process. Whether it’s building circuits or programming with digital electronics, using vector-based design for laser cutting, or diving into open-ended design challenges, I love helping students go from not knowing much about a topic to feeling confident, capable, and excited to learn more.
What motivates me most is seeing students—especially those who may be unsure or disengaged—find something in the content that sparks their interest. I work to design lessons that make space for every student to explore, build, and succeed.
